  • Welcome, Rev. Cameron Levi!

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to the Rev. Cameron Levi and his wife, Sabrina to the Pomaria community.  Rev. Levi is our new pastor for the Pomaria Charge, including New Hope UMC.  They come to us from Trenton United Methodist Church in Trenton, South Carolina.  We are excited that God has sent them to us and we look forward to building a strong relationship in Christ.  For more information about Rev. Levi, please visit the Pastor's Page.

  • Backpack Ministry

We have teamed up with Morris Chapel Southern Methodist Church in support of their "Back Pack" Ministry for students in need at Pomaria-Garmany Elementary School.  This helps to ensure that children in need have food over the weekend.  Thank you to everyone who supported the ministry during the school year.  We will not be collecting items during the months of May, June, and July.  We will start back again in August.

  • Women's Prayer Breakfast

The United Methodist Women will be sponsoring a monthly women's prayer breakfast.  It will be held the Thursday after the third Sunday each month at 8:00 AM in the fellowship hall.  This month it will be held on July 19.  This is open to all women of the church.  Please come and bring a friend for fellowship and breakfast to start your day!

  • Pomaria Food Bank

We continue to collect items for the Pomaria Food Bank.  Please consider picking up a few extra items when you're out doing your grocery shopping.  Our continued support of this ministry is greatly appreciated.  All donations can be placed in the purple tub in the vestibule of the church.

Safe Sanctuary

New Hope United Methodist Church is proud to be a "Safe Sanctuary" for children, youth, and vulnerable adults.  To ensure that all of our staff and volunteers are committed to the safety and security of our young people and vulnerable adults, we have an abuse protection policy and accompanying procedures in place.  Our Christian faith calls us to offer both hospitality and protection to all who enter our doors.
