Safe Sanctuary

New Hope United Methodist Church is proud to be a "Safe Sanctuary" for children, youth, and vulnerable adults.  To ensure that all of our staff and volunteers are committed to the safety and security of our young people and vulnerable adults, we have an abuse protection policy and accompanying procedures in place.  Our Christian faith calls us to offer both hospitality and protection to all who enter our doors.

  • Lenten Bible Study

Our Lenten Bible Study on The Lord's Supper continues with Rev. Daniel on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM in the fellowship hall.  Please join us!

  • Women's Prayer Breakfast

The United Methodist Women will be sponsoring a monthly women's prayer breakfast.  It will be held the Thursday after the third Sunday each month at 8:00 AM in the fellowship hall.  This month it will be held on January 25.  This is open to all women of the church.  Please come and bring a friend for fellowship and breakfast to start your day!

  • Back Pack Ministry

We are teaming up with Morris Chapel Southern Methodist Church in support of their "Back Pack" Ministry for children in need at Pomaria-Garmany Elementary School.  This helps to ensure that children in need have food over the weekend.  Donations can be placed in the marked box in the back of the church.  Any donations are appreciated, however donations requested for the month of March are individual servings/cups of apple sauce.

  • Pomaria Food Bank

We continue to collect items for the Pomaria Food Bank.  Please consider picking up a few extra items when you're out doing your grocery shopping.  Our continued support of this ministry is greatly appreciated.  All donations can be placed in the purple tub in the vestibule of the church.
