Our 7th Annual Golf Tournament is set for Saturday, August 22 and is fast approaching. We need the following items donated if possible: 4 - 24 packs of bottled water, 24 canned Cokes, 24 canned Sprites and 48 packs of Lance crackers. Help will also be needed the morning of the tournament in various forms. Please let Elaine or Roger know if you would be able to donate any of the items or are willing to help that morning.

  • Blessing of the Backpacks

Blessing of the Backpacks will be held during the worship service on Sunday, August 23.  All students (school and college), school teachers, school aides, administrators, substitute teachers, etc. are invited to participate.  If you don't carry a backpack, bring your "daily" bag, briefcase, etc.

  • Congratulations!

Congratulations to Rev. Cameron Levi!  Rev. Levi has graduated from the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary and will be commissioned as a Provisional Elder of the United Methodist Church at the South Carolina United Methodist Annual Conference on August 8.

  • Event Schedules

Services, meetings, and events are subject to change or cancellation due to COVID-19. Cancellations will be rescheduled as soon as possible.  If you have any questions about whether or not an event is still taking place, please contact us.  Thank you!

  • Backpack Ministry

We have teamed up with Morris Chapel Southern Methodist Church in support of their "Back Pack" Ministry for students in need at Pomaria-Garmany Elementary School.  This helps to ensure that children in need have food over the weekend.  We will resume helping with this ministry at the beginning of the new school year.

  • Pomaria Food Bank

We continue to collect items for the Pomaria Food Bank.  Please consider picking up a few extra items when you're out doing your grocery shopping.  Our continued support of this ministry is greatly appreciated.  You may also drop your goods off in the donation box at the Pomaria Food Bank located at 110 Victoria Street in Pomaria behind Wilson's Grocery.
